Membership application

Apply for a seat.

The Membership Team reviews every application, checks that nobody already holds your trade, and calls your references. Sending it does not guarantee a seat, and nothing is due until you are accepted.

  1. You apply. Six short sections, one screen at a time.
  2. The team reviews. They check your seat and call your two references.
  3. You hear back. Once accepted and paid, you are announced at the next meeting.

Membership classification (seat)

The group seats one member per trade. Any trade can apply, whether or not it is on the open-seats list. Name yours and the Membership Team will check it against current members.

Has your professional license ever been suspended or revoked?
Have you ever been convicted of, or pled guilty to, a crime?
Is the classification you are applying for your primary occupation?

Every new member needs a sponsor. If you do not have one yet, leave it blank and the Membership Team will help.

Standards and expectations
Can you commit to arriving at meetings on time and staying the full meeting?
Are you willing and able to send a substitute when you cannot attend?
Are you willing and able to bring referrals and visitors to the group?
Do you belong to other networking organizations?

Bylaws, fees and certification
  • Prospective members must have a sponsor.
  • The Membership Team reviews your application and tells you the outcome.
  • A new member is announced at the meeting after acceptance and payment.
  • Fees: $50 application and $295 a year, by cash, check, or Zelle. Renewal fees and discounts are up to the leadership team.
  • Membership is at will for both sides and creates no contractual right to continued membership.

I certify that my answers are true and complete to the best of my knowledge, and I understand that false or misleading information may result in my release. Upon acceptance I agree to abide by the group's bylaws, fees are non-refundable, and the membership term runs one year from the application date. Any liability to me involving the group and its members is limited to the annual membership fee I paid.
